Flying Dog Media (“we,” “us”) is an AI agency based in Charlottesville, Virginia. This policy describes what information we collect on flyingdogmedia.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the site is used, we don't sell your information, and we don't show ads.
Contact form. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, the service you're interested in, and your message. This is delivered to us as an email (via our email provider, Resend) and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Scout, our chat assistant. Conversations with Scout are processed by an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI. Transcripts are stored for up to 90 days so we can improve the assistant, then deleted. If you share contact details with Scout so we can follow up, those details and the conversation are saved to our customer database (Airtable) and handled like any other inquiry. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address as part of how it works; we see aggregated reports, not your identity. Our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare) also process IP addresses transiently to serve and secure the site.
To respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, and understand how visitors use the site. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We share information only with the services that make this site work: Cloudflare (hosting, security, and AI processing for Scout), Google Analytics (site usage), Resend (email delivery), and Airtable (inquiry and lead management). Each receives only what it needs for its role.
Chat transcripts are deleted after 90 days. Inquiry emails and lead records are kept as long as needed to manage our relationship with you.
You can browse the site without using the contact form or chat. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@flyingdogmedia.com and we'll take care of it.
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
